Hmm. That's not what happens for me... Try redownloading the tool, and make sure you extract everything.

<_< You don't save the original Brawl song as a .wav. You save the song you want to put into the game as .wav. The original Brawl song has to be in .brstm.

OK.
Put A02.brstm in the OriginalSongs folder. Run Start.bat. Press A or B depending on whether you want to do stereo or mono. Enter A02 when prompted. It should work.

Why does it say a02.brstmL.wav?
It should say a02.brstm. That's it. The song you want to put in Brawl -- your song, not the one that is already in the game -- does not go in the original songs folder. What goes in the original songs folder is a file, extracted from the game, that has a .brstm file extension. Not .wav..
