I wanted to try this, but I have a few questions beforehand. With Androu1's tool, we need to take an existing SSBB music file in order to place our own instead. But, are we limited byv the original file's length ? Is it possible to extend it, or not ?
And, when we're done editing it, is it possible to place the new file in another place than the one that was ocuppied by the original ?

1. No. Any length, though try to keep it kinda short.
2. Just like a character's textures, you can replace any music file with any other.

Mmh, I'm having a little problems to follow these instructions : I'm working with Audacity. Anyone knows what I need to do ? Also, about the loop spots, what should I do to make them as clean as possible ? Is Zaku's method better than Androu1's ? EDIT of JUStice : Never Mind. Problem solved. I have no idea why I thought I could not get Goldwave for free ...

DSPADPCM -e C:\Music_Hax\new_music\Duel of the Fates Remix Video.wav C:\Music_Hax\new_music\K01NEW.dsp -cC:\Music_hax\new_music\k01NEW.txt
in the command line it said this:
'C:\Music_Hax\tools' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Rename that .wav so it doesn't have any spaces and try again.

Where do you have the Command shortcut? If it's not in C:\music_hax\tools, put it there and run it.

If you use Audacity, you can have the song loop from anywhere. If you go to view<set selection format<samples(snap to samples), it will count the song in samples so you can determine where the loop begins.
For example, To make the SSB64 FD song I inserted loop properly, I typed this into the CP:
C:\Music_Hax\tools>DSPADPCM -e C:\Music_Hax\new_music\T03NEW.wav C:\Music_Hax\new_music\T03NEW.dsp -l99207-1989399 -cC:\Music_hax\new_music\T03NEW.txt
Out comes the text file that says this:
Header size: 96 bytes
Sample : 'C:Desktop\M_H\N_M\T03NEW.wav' Length : 1989399 samples Num nibbles: 2273599 ADPCM nibbles Sample Rate: 32000 Hz Loop Flag : LOOPED
Start Addr : 0x0001BAE5 + ARAM_offset (ADPCM nibble mode) End Addr : 0x0022B13F + ARAM_offset (ADPCM nibble mode) Curr Addr : 0x00000002 + ARAM_offset (ADPCM nibble mode)
a1[0]: 0x0845 a2[0]: 0xFA65 a1[1]: 0x0B8D a2[1]: 0xFB58 a1[2]: 0x0B34 a2[2]: 0xFA59 a1[3]: 0x0CE9 a2[3]: 0xFABC a1[4]: 0x0A3C a2[4]: 0xFA42 a1[5]: 0x0D16 a2[5]: 0xFA32 a1[6]: 0x0C8B a2[6]: 0xF9BA a1[7]: 0x0D5A a2[7]: 0xFA89
Gain : 0x0000 Pred/Scale: 0x0073 y[n-1] : 0x0000 y[n-2] : 0x0000
Loop Pred/Scale: 0x0029 Loop y[n-1] : 0xE647 Loop y[n-2] : 0xCC34
Now it should loop like does in SSB64.
I need to test it though.
