Well, first of all I HOPE SS REALLY release their texture... I mean REALLY! ¬¬
And my sis use your texture and she loves u! lol... and I think u have made an extremly awesome job... and pls post stacksmash link when they really share their textures ¬¬ they only say SOON... SOON... ¬¬ loool....

EDIT: I have seen SSmash's MAges and... I honestly think yours are better!!! and the hammers of your Mages are more better than theirs! really... just look at the details!!

Thanks Krlosf I'll definitely help spread the word when they do release. But until then, I'm going to continue with my obsession

Analysis/Comparison

The Hammers
I think I like the SS fire hammer better.
The ice hammer on the other hand, though it's beautiful, I like the cracks in mine.
The biggest downfall of my hammers are the lack of shape. The SS hammers(though they appear to be simple recolors) have more defined edges.
The Boots
I left my boots the way they were (other than color of course). What I like about the SS Boots Are the recoloring of the strap (even though they missed a few crucial pixels. But hey, no one's perfect.). They also colored the top part of the boot which make them look more like shoes. Not sure how I feel about that. In fact I'm pretty much indifferent on that topic.
The Eyes
I love their eyes even if they are just the FS eyes layered over the top of their regular eyes (which I thought about doing, but chose not to so they'd have different eyes during final smashes. Starting to wish I had.). The eyes in my opinion are what make them Mages. My eyes look more like gold, and lack the glowing effect. The SS eyes are also incredibly smooth. I missed a few pixels, and when they get attacked, their eyes close, and I couldn't get those eyes quite right. and Finally,
The Cloak[/u]
SS changed the fur around the sleeves and waist to a more smooth texture. I left it fur-like.

So that's it. I'm really proud of the way mine turned out, but I'm going to put both in my game to see which one I like more because in-game is much different than zoomed in pics.

Also the blue pixels on the straps borders is not a mistake, its the fault of someone named SAKURAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII. That blue part i missed on the straps shares part of the arms, i intended to change that, but always ends with yellow pixels in the arms, :S

I also love your hammers, you used an special brush or something??, :3

krlosf: please, stop the hate against us, we recently got the new server for upload our textures without legal problems, and its not easy to upload 150+ pcs. I which you can understand, :S

I don't hate u! and I really like your textures! (specially yours! your SIGMA is incredible awesome), I'm just saying that I hope SS really upload their textures because I've read some comments (not from your and S (Register) neither!) from ONE member of the team that I didn't like and that's it... Pls don't take it like "words of hate" lol... that is not my purpose... just saying I really hope SS upload their textures and don't lie us... just that... REALLY! if u have taken my posts in the wrong way... sorry

Yeah dude, I think you're my favorite artist over there. Although I've seen a screenshot that spire was working on a while back(Goron DK), and That has potential to be the sweetest hack ever.

Ahh. I'd probably know that if I tried to change it. It's funny... there seem to be a lot of mistakes in brawl. All of which are the fault of someone named SAKURAIIIIIIIIIIIIIII.

Actually....I'll give you a sample of how bad I am at editing images. All I did for the fire hammer, was colorized it red, gave it crazy amounts of contrast, and then several varying layers of gausian blur(or whatever it's called). And the Ice hammer was a separate layer that I put in a "dried mud" pattern > desaturate, then change the color balance. With both hammers, I actually did different layers, and tried to give the top layer some transparency because I really wanted to get the wood grain lines to come through. It looked great in GIMP, but in game it doesn't look blended at all.

Also, I was right there with Krlos. Only I was on the verge of hating you guys. The day you announced you would be releasing is the day I started to regain faith. It's just really frustrating when people show you how great they are for so long, and even when the majority of the community is sharing their work, and trying to duplicate what you've done just so we can play with a similar version, you still won't share. But you came through with your promise, and I have to say you saved one fan by doing so. I understand you had to wait, and everything else had to be just right. I'm just super happy it finally happened.

And it really is too bad you hate the Ice Climbers because when you get good with them, they will blow your mind. Not to mention everyone will dread playing against them. But at the same time, every time you lose, your friends will feel no greater satisfaction.
