Now that I think about it, I tested it, too. And even thought he looks badass, I don't really understand the choice to make the white stripes look metallic instead. Of course, it's nice to see (I didn't think shiny textures like that could be implementented on Sonic  ). But since most of the time in a normal game, you play further away from your characters than on the pause screen, you cannot see the stripes at all ... Would it be possible to conserve the shiny and make it look a bit brighter ? |

It looks a lot darker, in the psychological sense.
