Unfortunately, due to the large debt the American nation has (me included) I have my own private "War" to fight. That's why I haven't been on lately. Also, Teady's decision to merge us with ESH took me off guard. I don't know what's going to happen to this site, or what my role is going to be. I hope that we keep this an open and free environment for people to post their work.

No more Kitty Corp!?

Well, I'm going to say this. Kitty corp. is not really a corporate entity, and yet it is. It' not going away, but it seems as if we can no longer allocate the manpower and other resources to continue development and production of textures and supervise the forum. As you all know, our interaction in the forum has been lacking lately. This is just one branch of our "corp".

Unfortunately, other branches and departments take up manpower and budget just like this one does, and they are also have a higher priority. The economy isn't doing so well where our "headquarters" is and we need to free up resources. Hopefully when things get better we can afford to fund this project again, but you know how it goes. Corporations don't like "re-funding" projects that have failed or have been cut. We will see where it takes us in the future, blah, blah blah, etc. and such.

Sorry guys, I'll talk to Teady and see what we can do.

At this point, I'm not sure there's anything that could be done. I'll talk to teady and see if we can get more staff on. If we can at least get people to supervise while we try to "win the war" maybe we don't have to cut it. But for now, the only way you can help is if you can try and keep this forum lively. (which doesn't seem to be a problem.)

Though I don't think it will be entirely cut, just merged. I don't really like "mergers" because they tend to create problems, like conflicting policy, and standard operating procedures.

Well, I don't give a shit about the damn teams. We're all hackers here. We need to stick together. If this forum gets shut down I'm going to start another one. The best part about this forum is the free environment to distribute our works. We don't need kitty corp for that, although it has been nice. I personally hope at least this forum stays up if the merge happens. We need this place people to share and appreciate our works. I personally love it when I get good feedback on my textures, and I'm sure others do as well. I've really seen a lot of people get very good at this in the short time after ]EE[ went down. I'm jsut rambling now, but I just love the free environment of this place, and no merger is going to be able to take that away. If this is shut down my aim is craljona. IM me if this is shut down, and I'll start a new forum. THIS DOES NOT DEPEND ON KITTY CORP. THIS FORUM HAS A LIFE OF ITS OWN. VIVA KITTY CORP FORUMS.
