I downloaded a couple of new textures, so It came with a .tga file. Is this the character portrait file? Also, do I leave it in the fighter folder or do i make a ne a new folder? Also, what o I name it?

In order to use portraits, you need to run a program called CUPASH. Of course, you first need to get the original common5.pac before doing this.
After extracting the PAC file with step 1, place your new portraits in the newfiles folder. Then, run step 2. After step 2 is done, you'll get a new common5.pac, which will contain the new portraits and the unedited portraits.

Ok, I understand.
Why would someone bother putting the .tga file in their character but not the common5 with it?
So, I downloaded most of them for 2 Dark?. Do I ask picano for the common5.pac?

Because we expect you to actually do some stuff for yourself instead of sitting around, expecting everything to be handed to you? You know, my topic even says right at the top about the tga files. Why don't I put in the common5 you ask? Would you like to download an 11MB file in addition to every single texture I have posted?
Then again, I haven't really revised the notice since the days of ISO burning.... so I'll do that now.
Also... I won't give out the common5 pac but there are quite a few people around here that are willing to... and I really should post a link to one of those topics in the above FAQ.
