So I am trying to get a skin to work, but in game it will just show up black until you pause and look at Wario...then it'll be very choppy looking...odd.
Does anyone know the cause for this oddity? First time it's happened to me.

Mipmaps.
If the texture was made badly (or before a certain version of ASH) it'll appear really messed up from distances.

ash glithes sometimes, i one time made a lucario that turned black and stole others tgas.

I see. So, should I just repack it with ASH again, or is there nothing I can really do about it?

Try extracting it, backup the folders, then extract a fresh wario and paste the folder. Then run step2. If that doesnt work, you will have to manually do the mipmaps.
