*sigh* another problem but i want metaknight's eye texture in my texture hack but step_2 says erronumous colours. what do i do?

Use photoshop or manually pack it (either via SSBBArc or manual hexing).
That error tends to appear most when using GIMP to index "small pallet" files while using ASH to repack.
