Mm, I'd say go with your own flow. If you want his shirt to be black, then make it as so... I find it more appealing if you stay true to the original sources, anyway.

I always like it more if it's true to the source, but since I have no problem in changing it from black to red, I was thinking that I could release one with the black shirt and one with the red, that way people can choose which one they like.

The only thing I have to fix is the "stomach" part, so that it looks like part of shadow's fur.
