for me, its social studies. when do we use events that already happened in our future? Well, we have knowledge of what happened in the great depression, so we are doing all we can to prevent another one now. As well as a while ago there was an influenza pandemic that killed more people than the first world war, we are taking measures to prevent that from happening with swine flu (h1n1 influenza... whatever u wanna call it) However it is not realy neccessary to know most of the stuff we learn in social studies. So long as the important people know it, nobody else needs to.

Then he spends over 5k taking pictures of airplanes next to the Statue of Liberty. Obama IS the next Great depression. anyway back on topic, My math teacher just gave me another review. 8 pages long packed with questions.
