In the past few weeks I've been converting various game soundtracks into brstm format for brawl, they include: F-Zero GX Kirby's Airride Mario Kart: Double Dash Metroid Prime Metroid Prime 2 Metroid Prime 3 Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door Shadow the Hedgehog Sonic Adventure Sonic Adventure 2: Battle Sonic and the Black Knight Sonic and the Secret Rings Sonic Heroes Sonic Unleashed Super Mario Galaxy Tales of Symphonia Tatsunoko vs. Capcom The World Ends With You And other single tracks I have are: Final Fantasy VI - Battle Theme Kirby Super Star - Gourmet Race Phantom Hourglass - Final Boss Pokemon Platnum - Giratina Battle Silence Sonic 2006 - All Hail Shadow (Crush 40) Sonic 2006 - His World (Crush 40) Sonic 2006 - His World Go over to www.mediafire.com/eshmusic for the downloads These have been ripped straight from their respective games, keeping their original loop points, and are all in stereo format About half of the songs are tagged, those that aren't have a small 5-15 mb mp3 download so you can know what track you're getting just in case you can't tell what a file like "PRIME_3_End_credit.brstm" is

Now when you say they've been ripped from the original game, you mean the actual audio stream data like .DSP for Metroid Prime, right? No lossy MP3/OGG/ACC/etc. formats involved here?
(sorry for being such an audiophile >_>; )

yes, they've gone from original format (dsp, adx, etc.) --> wav --> brstm
And do you think that dynamic range compression would be useful for encoding songs to put in Brawl?

It can be, but like I said - Brawl's music only uses a little. This can be useful if you're keeping some of brawl's music and not replacing everything.
I personally wouldn't share them with any compression though since I feel that the original files being shared should have the highest quality possible, and if someone wants to customize a song by adjusting volume or something, they should do it themself.
Let me put it this way - if you share files with no dynamic range compression, someone can still rip the brstm's audio and compress the dynamic range themselves. But if you share a file with dynamic range compression, then someone that doesn't want it (like me) won't be able to get it.

Phantom Wings the creator of the SD Loader decided to take a well deserved break after creating so many awesome codes.
Someone else would have to continue where he left but it doesn't seem any other hacker is up for it right now.

Ah... Which one of the Sonic & the Black Knight tunes is "Crystal Cave"? Good song. One of my favorites. Unfortunately, looking through rips is rather troublesome. >_> (If I find it beforehand, I'll post its number here.)
EDIT: Yep. Got it. sng_gallery_F
